Project HAVEN (Holistic Autism corner for Vital Educational Needs) involves building an Autism Corner in the SPED Center. It will include three tiers of open shelves and a secure door. The corner is designed to provide a safe space for students with Autism to participate in sensory activities, educational tasks, and therapeutic interventions, promoting their overall development and learning.
Project HAVEN (Holistic Autism corner for Vital Educational Needs) entails the construction an Autism Corner within the SPED Center. The corner will feature three layers of open shelves. Additionally, a door with a lock mechanism will ensure the safety of the students and their belongings. The corner will serve as a dedicated space for students with Autism to engage in sensory activities, educational exercises, and therapeutic interventions. By creating this specialized environment, the project aims to foster a holistic approach to supporting the educational and developmental needs of students with Autism. Also, creating a dedicated Autism Corner will provide them with a safe and supportive space where they can engage in activities tailored to their developmental requirements.
